WILD HIVE APIARY

HAND DIPPED BEESWAX TAPER CANDLE - MOSS

Dyed with earth-based pigments and made entirely by hand, these moss green tapers carry the quiet colours of the natural world. Each candle is slowly dipped in 100% pure beeswax, building soft layers of colour that feel both grounded and timeless.

Naturally tinted with earth pigments, these tapers have a muted, botanical green tone. Because the colour comes from the earth rather than synthetic dyes, each batch holds its own subtle variations, a reminder that these candles are made, not manufactured.

Each pair is slowly dipped by hand in an Alberta studio, then finished with an outer layer naturally coloured with earth pigment. From preparing the colour to dipping and finishing, each pair takes over two days to create. Subtle variations in shape, colour and finish reflect the handmade nature of every candle.

Beeswax burns with a warm, steady flame and releases a gentle honeyed aroma straight from the hive. Free from added fragrance and synthetic ingredients, these tapers are well suited for those who value traditional materials and thoughtful making.

Set on a table, shelf, or mantel, they bring a soft woodland feel to everyday moments and special gatherings alike.

A note on beeswax bloom:

Over time, a soft, frosted finish may develop on the surface. Known as bloom, this is a natural characteristic of pure beeswax. Leave it as is for a softly aged look, or gently buff with a soft microfiber cloth to restore the moss green finish. You can also warm the surface lightly with a hair dryer.
